The Stork, Condor Green

Tractor at The Stork, originally uploaded by Lancaster Today.

Lancaster is a pretty small city. Here's a popular pub on the outskirts - The Stork on Condor Green.

You just might appreciate this photo more if I tell you the tractor was in motion.

I did say might.

  1. The Stork is an interesting name...do they give birth to new types of drinks?

Love the tractor...we dearly love John Deere in this country, too. John Deere is a bit pricey, though!

  2. What would interest me more would be the shutter speed that you took it at... that way I could imagine the speed at which the tractor was going past... or not :)

  3. Jacob - there are quite a few storks on the mud-flats nearby. Didn't have time to take pics but will next time.

Thanks Alien Mind Girl (btw, did you sort out your blog to allow comments yet?).

    Sean - details are:
    Exposure: 1/5000 sec
    Aperture: f/2.8
    Focal Length: 35 mm
    ISO Speed: 3200

It was moving at quite a healthy speed.

  4. That's a great shot! The tractor looks very clean, so it must be new or just had a bath. I love all those flowers in the windows and hanging from the building!

  5. Gotta love a town where tractors are among the vehicles on the streets. ;-) Warms my county heart.
