marley, I think my photograph has brought out its best side! :) But seriously, Lancaster nearly lost this market a few years ago I seem to remember, but it remains popular and relatively busy today. I was lucky to get a shot with nobody in the frame today. I had to wait a while.
It looks nice! I see some interesting pictures up there on the walls above some of the shops and I also noticed that beautiful red, white and blue flag in the left upper corner of your picture!
Yes Lois, I must go back and work out why they have the Stars and Stripes flying there. Perhaps they are confused and think they are Lancaster, Pennsylvania!
Thanks for saying so Jacob, even though it wouldn't be that sharp if blown up; it was hand-held. But I've got a shutter release ordered, so so will try to produce some sharper tripod shots soon!
Looks a bit more glamourous than the scabby market in Gloucester. The Cheltenham one went many years ago - now a Blockbuster and Majestic Wine!

ReplyDeleteThis is so very well done, Eamon! Terrific composition; great colors; and it's sharp as a tack!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
