Lancaster Quay, reflected on River Lune

After suffering several cloudy days, we awoke to gorgeous bright light again this morning. It was great to get out and see reflections in the still River Lune before breakfast.

Taken from the Millennium Bridge.

  1. This is super...allows one to see the reality in the reflection! Well done!

  2. Thanks Jacob. Not sure it's the kind of image most people appreciate though. But for me, being able to see the riverbed through the water in one section, the reflected sky in the deeper channel in another, the reflection of the stone buildings behind that, and finally the actual stone of the river walls in the background makes it an interesting layered photo. But I would say that, eh?!
