Another from Lancaster Canal. I was drawn to the strong colour of this narrow boat on a grey day framed by dull buildings.
And here is the walk back home. A path along Lancaster Canal.
Your canal photogrpahs are always intriguing and you are right this one is a little different and particularly nice. I think you mentioned it once but an inside view would be good? Perhaps a little more insight into "life on the canals"?
That's lovely. Thank you for sharing.
Good idea Sean. I don't think I mentioned an inside view (only the Regent Street house), but I'll see if I can get an invite next time I see one of the owners. Thanks Alien Mind Girl - and did you know that the comments function on your blog still appears to be disabled? I've tried a few times now but can't leave one...
I love the textures of the river and the stone of the city. Really peaceful !!RegardsValeryBarcelona Daily PhotoTrujillo Daily Photo
Beautiful and lovely shot !! Fantastic post and thanks for the comments on my Blog..
Absolutely superb! Great composition and the colors are to die for!
I do like that color and it seems quite large. I'd like to see what the inside looks like too!
Ah, this reminds me of what I must have missed in the three weeks I was without internet. I will go back and check out older posts this evening. Suffice to say, this is a splendid image. The red is great and the shape of the front (bow??) is very gentle to the eye.I am working up a post about a canal, too: but storm water drain. Can't remotely compete with your wonderful maze of canals ...
