Kingfisher's window, originally uploaded by Lancaster Today.

Lancaster canal has cut through the city since the 1790's and boasts some fine scenery along its tow-paths: For now you'll have to make do with shots of a couple of its moored residents: a butterfly and a kingfisher.

  1. Prettier than antyhing I uded to see on Birmingham Canals.

  2. Lancaster Canal has its less-than-pretty parts too Babooshka! Thanks for dropping by.

  3. I love the little stained glass bird!

  4. I'm glad I added it then Lois! It was originally omitted from the post as I wasn't happy with the quality of the photo, but decided in favour of it later to balance up the post (two names, two representations of the names).

Thanks for the comment in advance. All thoughts are appreciated ~ Eamon.
